The Cars have a new album coming out in May! Awesomeness. Here’s the first single and it sounds pretty good. Just from hearing the first couple of notes you can tell it’s the Cars.

Update 5/15: The new album is amazing! I stopped by the local record store last Sunday, two days before it was due out, to talk to them about selling my cd on consignment there. While I was waiting I noticed they had a copy in their display and asked if there were any for sale yet. The guy quietly grabbed one from an unpacked box behind the counter and sold it to me. I felt like I was in a super cool secret music club by getting it early, and it’s been on repeat ever since. It’s that good.
