1. Duo Creative – A brother and sister run agency. Awesome idea.
2. Lego – These are the coolest things ever.
3. Cosmetic Surgeon – Uh-huh-huh. Boobs.
4. Makeup Business – Lipstick on a napkin is sultry, sexy, and great for a makeup business.
5. DJ Service – The card has a spinning turntable that reveals the info.
6. Survival Training – The card is made of beef jerky in case you’re lost in the wild with nothing but their business card and you need food to survive. Amazing.
7. Second Hand Store – Great idea for a store that sells used stuff. I actually do this with birthday and wedding cards.
8. Divorce Lawyer – Sad and great.
9. Post-Marriage Counseling – Less sad but just as great.
10. Lush Lawns – Everyone loves getting a little “extra.”

Everyone likes being the person with the clever shirt that makes people laugh and think a bit. You know, the one who’s just a bit too cool for school. There are so many stupid shirts out there though, that you have to be careful that you don’t go from “cool dude who’s slightly alternative and everyone wants to be their friend” to “total tool who still lives in the 90s.” There was a time when I was king of those shirts, but I’ve fell into the comfortable rut of black band shirts in recent years. Here are a bunch of shirts though that I’ve come across on BustedTees and Threadless that I think are pretty damn funny. The less sense some of them make, the better.

I was going through the archive of samples I’ve saved on my desktop and realized that a lot of the ads I like either involve humping, nudity, or inappropriate things. There’s so much stuffiness and so many uninteresting things out there, why not grab someone’s attention with beheaded toys, boobs, or dead unicorns?

You’d be hard pressed to find a time when I didn’t think boobs belonged in an ad, but this campaign is done right. It gets the point across perfectly, it’s clever, and it’s right in your face.

Then they let you down. I fall for it every time. Also there’s been some talk of these ads ripping off Erica Simone and her “Nue York” project.
